Microwave Block Chute / Point Level / Barrier Detector
The
Wadeco Microwave Barrier / Microwave Block Chute Detector / Microwave
Point Level detector consists of a Microwave Transmitter and Receiver module. When the
microwave energy is absorbed or not present, a relay contact switches.
The microwave penetrates through a significant amount of glass, brick, tile,
ceramic, PTFE, UHDP, rubber, wood, and other non-conductive materials.
Therefore this can be used as a "window" for a chute or bin. This also
indicates that the microwave is not affected by dust. The tips of the microwave
sensor are made of PTFE, to prevent build up. The Wadeco has adjustable gain
and sensitivity controls, as well as a time delay for the relay output. The
transmitter and receiver can be placed up to 100 metres apart, and are
completely safe.
