 Smar LD291 – gauge pressure

Smar LD291_300

The LD291 is the economical alternative in routine gauge pressure measurement.

This lightweight design eliminates the need for mounting brackets and
transmitter supports in many applications.  The model LD291 offers digital HART® based communication simplifying calibration and providing remote diagnostics.

Its microprocessor-based electronics allow for total interchangeability
with SMAR capacitive sensors.  It automatically corrects sensor characteristic changes caused by temperature fluctuations.

All members of the LD29X series use SMAR’s field proven capacitive sensors. Its special design allows a direct process connection and an optional LCD indicator can be added to provide additional operations
and local indication.

 Smar DT300-series – non-Nuclear Density transmitter

Smar DT300 The DT300 “Touché” Intelligent Density Transmitter is an instrument developed for the continuous, online measurement of liquid density and concentration, directly in the industrial process.

Its pioneer technology consists of a capacitive type differential pressure sensor coupled to a pair of pressure repeaters immersed in the process.  A temperature sensor located between the two pressure repeaters is used to compensate the temperature variations in the process fluid.

A dedicated software, by means of an algorithm, calculates the fluid density.

Depending on the industrial process, density may be expressed in g/cm3, Kg/m3, lb/ft3, Specific Gravity, Brix degree, Gay-Lussac degree, Baumé degree, Plato degree, INPM degree, API degree, Solids %, Concentration %, etc.

Designed for process control applications, these 2-wire transmitters generate a signal proportional to the concentration/density. Digital communication for remote calibration and monitoring is also provided.

 Smar IF303_big The FI300 line is made up by the FI302 (FOUNDATION™ fieldbus) and FI303 (PROFIBUS-PA) converters.

This equipment makes easier the integration of conventional 4-20 mA equipment with automation systems with digital technology by supporting up to 3 fieldbus control signals to be converted into 4-20mA current signals.
