  The LD291 is the economical alternative in routine gauge pressure measurement.This lightweight design eliminates the need for mounting brackets and
transmitter supports in many applications.  The model LD291 offers digital HART® based communication simplifying calibration and providing remote diagnostics.Its microprocessor-based electronics allow for total interchangeability
with SMAR capacitive sensors.  It automatically corrects sensor characteristic changes caused by temperature fluctuations.

All members of the LD29X series use SMAR’s field proven capacitive sensors. Its special design allows a direct process connection and an optional LCD indicator can be added to provide additional operations
and local indication.

AST 4510 (Submersible Pressure Transmitter) 

 AST4500_200x300 The AST4500 and AST4510 submersible level sensors are approved to UL/cUL913 (CSA 157) Class I Div 1, Groups C and D for use in intrinsically safe areas with an approved barrier. For pressure ranges from 0-1 to 0-100 PSI that require a wide range of media compatibility, the submersible series is an excellent solution to level monitoring for indoor and outdoor applications.The AST4500 and AST4510 level sensors are completely sealed for submersion, yet vented through the cable to correct for barometric pressure changes. The welded housing is tested in-house via a helium leak tester to ensure proper protection. The conductors of the cable are also isolated from the outside environment to keep the sensor operational for long-term use.There are a variety of factors to consider when thinking about how to install a submersible pressure transducer.The AST4510 comes standard with a 1/2″ NPT male conduit connection at the base of the cable connection. In tanks that are turbulent due to an inlet/fill pipe or the use of an agitator, the transducer can have rigid plastic or metal conduit installed over the cable to prevent sensor movement within the tank. It is most common in mobile applications such as ships, train cars, or applications where the tank is transported between locations such as fuel tanks for construction sites, chemical totes for industrial processing, or well site injection chemicals.
